Shane Dabney is our Greensboro math tutor and one of our test prep instructors. He is a graduate of Virginia State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He is currently enrolled in the Industrial and System Engineering Master's Degree Program at North Carolina A&T State University. Mr. Dabney states that working with "The Next Step" gives him the ability to mentor and educate students outside of the normal realm of education. Children are usually lectured and talked AT instead of being talked TO, which can hinder them. A quote Mr. Dabney lives by is, "Trying is an honest lie. Just get yourself together and do it."
